As a tourist destination main attraction of Ooty is toy train. I think it is better than kalka shimla toy train. And the scenic beauty is good. Otherwise lake, botanical garden etc. are average. Paikada dam and bandipur forest are also good, but "YEH DIL MANGE MORE". Berijam lake in kodaikanal is far more beautiful than the ooty lake. After visiting Ooty and its surroundings, it seems that this place is a bit over rated. If Mysore and its surroundings are added to Ooty tour, then the tour becomes interesting.
