I own a 2005 Opel Corsa 1.4 GSI. But for the mileage and few other issues which I will discuss further ahead , I am happy with the car.
In most of the reviews, I have read that the one can easily clip the car at a 145Kms and it doesnt feel like the speed. In my car, anything above hundred, I can feel the car starting to wobble and it feels really unsafe. Does anyone have any IDEA why does this happen ? A couple of months back, a WAGON R raced past me and beleive me the WAGON R is a fast car. I had the shock of my Life when that happened.
The only reason, I purchased this car is for the speed and the manouvering ability. However, I feel this car looses points heavily on this front.
The car also has a very poor ground clearence. When there is a hump, I can feel the car silencer touch the hump and beleive me thats not exciting. When the car is carrying the adequate capacity which is 5 passengers, its worse. Any idea why is this like this ?
Apart from this, the car has a very poor pick-up especially when the AC is turned on. For this, I am intending to put the K&N filter. I will keep u guys posted on that front.
I get about 10-11Kms w/out AC and this is not a very nice sign, since I do not have the luxury of letting the car sit on my LAP and have the contents of my Wallet.
If somebody could throw some solution for these problems that I am facing, it would be gr8.
