Opel Corsa is a good car, I am having corsa model 2001 and its good and safe vehicle. As I do have simeltenoulsy Esteem and Honda City model 2001 & 99, I have somewhat better grip of comparision between this three.
Corsa first of all no doubt when you drive the vehicle on high speed you dont feel that vehicle is becoming more and more lighter its doesnt leave the road and road grip is excellent compare to Esteem and honda. But if a person who is more willing to drive in city and surrounding Esteem is the best vehicle because of low maintenence and low service cost and Fuel Economy is the best among other two cars.
Esteem gives me an average of 15 KMPl in city and 16 Plus on highways, honda city gives 13.5 to 14 and corsa in this matter is worst because it gives hardly 10 kmpl on city and highway. further the maintanance of the Esttem is more Cheaper than other two Cars and corsa only Pais Service cost you around 900 Rs and other consumables parts and labour extra if anything extra labour had done.
Opel as well as honda dealers are situated in big cities and there are no service centres given, were as Maruti delaership and service centres are in huge numbers and you can get easily service with a minimum amount spending.
My Final Verdict Opel Corsa Poor Mileage and maintenance cost high, Honda City good Mileage but dealership and service centres are selective and maruti Esteem best mileage and strong Delaer/service network.
So if you want Status vehicle then go for Honda City and if it is not like that then you can go For Esteem and finally if you have Excees money then Corsa.
