Small car with big comforts

I have recently brought 1.4 GSI Black colour with beige interiors. Though its too early to comment as i’ve been driving this car for just a week, but still i’ve done about 1800 KMs. Here’s my experience with the car:

Price:

I got the car for Rs. 4, 33, 000 (with beige interiors) instead of published price of Rs. 5, 27, 000. The company gave a cash discount of Rs. 94000/- (this was under scheme valid for a week). So, for me it comes out to be the cheapest option as compared with Ikon, Accent or Indigo.

Features:

The Corsa is full of features. Just a single base model and you get everything: Power Windows, Power Steering, Rear Defogger, Child Lock for rear doors and windows, Dead Locking (even if someone breaks the glass and tries to steal your car, the system will automatically cut-off petrol supply and other circuits), Rear Speakers (Nice quality - Blaupuankt), Nice AC, Best Susupension, etc.

Good Points:

1) Very comfortable

2) Compact Built

3) Roomy interiors

4) Anti-knocking mechanism (even if you start your car in 5th gear, your car won’t knock. This helps in city driving / traffic and you dont have to shift gears every second)

5) Control and Built - Very Safe and sturdy

Bad Points:

1) Mileage: its 10-11 in the city and 14 on highway with AC on

2) Pickup: not the best in its class (maybe due to Euro III / Bharat Stage II norms)

Sum-up:

I’ve got this car at a price little higher than Santro XG and I have no regrets. Its a master-piece with bunch of safety features. All in all its not as big as ikon or accent from exterior but more spacious than both. The black colour gets dirty but if you have some to clean it daily and you can manage polishing it once-a-month, its the best shining thing to go with. The beige interiors also get dirty but you can always dip a sponge in a detergent, rub it on and then clean it with a vacum cleaner or send it to the workshop and they do all for you (ofcourse at a cost).

DRIVE SAFE!
