I normally hate committing to a review but I just had to write about the Opel Corsa. Like her spirited engine encourages you to drive, her plus points encourage you to write.
First off, love the distinct European looks.
With the windows up you get spoilt in a noisy city like Bangalore.
The pick-up is astonishing.
The engine purr is racy.
Damn, the spares are like they warned me. Eye-watering high. An itsy bitsy platic joint from the power window mechanisms on both front windows cost be a whopping Rs 14, 000 to repair.
On a brighter note, she comes alive at 4000rpm.
On the Bangalore-Ooty highway she makes 140kmph seem like 40 - rock-solid grip and I especially like the way the car glides to a halt. The supension is top of the class.
Agreed, she drinks like me, but what the heck, you can’t put a price on a good time.
