Blue star

Dear Mr.Brar,

I happen to read your interview in rediff.com.I think your book and your view towards ?operation blue star? provides complete understanding of what was the reason behind that operation and what kind of emotions you were undergone during that period. I really like when you said in your interview that ?There is always a limit to how much a country can take?

It is definitely agreeable that ?operation blue star? hurt lot of Sikhs around the world and led to the bloody massacre which is out of the ordinary. However I strongly feel that when one plays against country?s integrity and solemnity, it would be appropriate task to bring them to justice no matter what religion, caste, and creed they are. Otherwise the country would break into pieces.

Country such as India which has got history of great diversity and strong culture can never be broken into pieces by few crazy people like Bhindranwale who thought they can succeed in what they want in the name of religion.

My strong view is that no matter where the militants hide, wether it may be in Vatican church or in holy mosque of Mecca or even in temples of Varanasi, terrorists are one and the same all over the place and they shouldn?t be allowed to get what they want.Afterall nothing is bigger than a country. Long live India.
