Oppo , the only phone with the best features

My first Android - Sony Xperia U was working flawlessly until last month when it finally gave away, what followed was the purchase of a new phone. My requirements were clearly laid, the budget should be within 20K - the less the better. A neat search from Flipkart/Amazon evolved and Various options were the Red Mi 3S Prime and 4, or the Samsung(which is less preferred).Reasons for rejecting Samsung were pretty much the same as last time.

Display and resolution was better in Sony. The overall build quality and ergonomics were again a tad better in Sony as compared to Samsung.Main problem was poor battery life for Samsung phones. Hence decided to get myself an Oppo this time

Design:

One of the reasons I did not opt for Samsung phone is because of their inability to stand out in the crowd. Man, somehow I feel all Samsung phones look so much the same. There is not much difference between a Galaxy Grand and a S4 - the outer appearance is more or less identical. Compared to Samsung, Oppo F1S offer a better build quality and each model has a specific outward appearance which is in a way good given the price we pay. Design and looks is also a primary concern for many.

The Oppo phone feels good to hold and the phone is sleek in size. The length is almost the overall contour of the phone. The phone is available in various colors. I however opted for the White one. There is an integrated multi-color notification light embedded at the bottom of the phone and it adds to the stark appearance of the otherwise monotonous front – looks amazing in the dark.

Performance:

The phone is packed with Andorid 5.1 version and there is negligible lag when using the phone that too with many apps loaded. Compared to the resolution the Oppo F1 S had a better display as compared to the others. However watching 1080P movies in this phone is smooth and does the job without much complain.

The great grand 16 Megapixel camera is the best, it is after all the Selfie flash that is the best part in the Phone. The front camera is basic and does the job of video conferencing without difficulty. I have used applications like Skype for long hours and video calling is simply great.

The User Interface is very intuitive to use. The widgets work well and I have not faced any problem using them.

The phone is available in single sim and dual sim variant and is available at a price of 17K(approx).

Best part of the phone is the battery backup. I have heavy internet usage – my phone is connected to 3G/Wifi 24 hours a day.

Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.

A full charge generally stays for 1 and a half day which I feel is overly generous given the huge number of applications that I use.

Overall a great buy and I would recommend this phone to others as well.
