I was considering buying the Oppo F29, and finally decided to purchase it after a week. But I regret my decision now. It is an average phone with no special features that can justify the price. The cameras are a letdown, despite being an Oppo phone with gimmicky monochrome sensors and over-processing. There is no ultrawide lens. Battery life is average at best. While the 6500mAh sounds impressive, the phone’s software optimization seems poor, and I barely get 6-7 hours of battery life. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset feels like 4-5 years old and is not built for current apps or AI. Another major headache is the software bloat.
The phone comes loaded with unnecessary pre-installed apps that clutter the interface and can’t be fully uninstalled. At 21000, it is not at all comparable to other Vivo and Realme phones at this price range.
