Trend is of bazelless tall screen phones, started by LG with G6( way back june 2016) and Samsung in their latest flagship lauch S8 and S8+ .Later on other brands like micromax, Vivo and Redmi followed it.Now oppo has also come out with a taller screen bazelless smart phone with a new feature AI face recognation unlock.Welcome friends to my yet another review and this time with chinese smart phone maker Oppo.
Processor-
Oppo F5 is powered by MediaTek MT6763T, which was launched very recently.Please dont run away reading MediaTek here becouse some of latest MediaTek SoC performs much better then few snapdragon processor.It features eight ARM Cortex A53 cores, four of which run at 2.3GHz while the other four run at 1.65GHz. It also features an integrated Mali-G71 MP2 GPU and improved image processor, which is very much needed for its advanced camera set up.
Performence-
With its powerful Octacore processor, this device runs very smoothly without any lag and can play high end games like Pes 2018, Aspholt 8 without falioure.
No heating problem while high quality usage.I am using 32 GB version which come with 4 GB ram.
Display-
It has resolution of 1080* 2160 pixels with 18: 9 aspect ratio.Viewing angles are very good and colors are vivid on display.It is 6 inch of screen size but this device is really compact are does lot look so big while using.
Other specifications are-
3200mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera, 20-megapixel front camera, and standalone microSD card slot. For connectivity, there is dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.I am disappointed to see a Micro-USB port instead of the more modern Type-C standard.
Camera With AI features-
Of course the main attraction here is the front camera, and I am coming to right now. Faces in selfies generally come out very good, You can capture some excellent selfies for social media this way, but The lack of an actual flash is surprising for a selfie-focused phone, but the screen flash does help to some extent. As for the AI-enhanced beautification mode, it’s hard to say how much of a difference it makes. When setting it to its highest and lowest levels manually, there’s a clear difference in skin tones but it’s also possible to go overboard and look extremely artificial.Some times it takes time to recognize the face properly.
Battery backup is pretty good and you I can use it for one and half day once charged fully.
