Oppo has launched Oppo R17 Pro smartphones in China on August 23. Unveiled at an event held in Shanghai, Oppo R17 Pro is the first device to have the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for screen protection and has a few other unique features like triple rear cameras. The new smartphone supports Super VOCC flash charger for fast- charging purposes. The company claims that its fast charging technology will charge the phone up to 40 percent in a matter of 10 minutes. Priced at RMB 4, 299 ( Approx. Rs 43, 800) , the phone comes in a shiny blue gradient colour and will be available in the Chinese market by mid-October. Oppo R17 Pro features a triple camera setup, where the first lens is a 12MP with a dual aperture of f/1.5 - f/2.4 and the second sensor comes with a 20MP aperture set at f/2.6. The third camera is a TOF 3D stereo camera, which is used to gather detailed 3D information. The TOF 3D stereo camera will help in illuminating a scene by using infrared or near-infrared light that can measure the distance between itself and objects within that scene.
