You’re right that all the new phones released these days are very good; mid-range has basically caught up with flagships and even the low-end phones aren’t all that bad. Perhaps rather than being more critical, reviewers could focus on what differentiates a particular device. Some folks really need an IR blaster and a radio, some need the latest updates ASAP, size is a big deal, and so on. I’m impressed with a lot of phones and I enjoy reading about them but it is annoying when some reviewer just nitpicks at little details ( it’s like being able to walk on water and having someone say it’s just because you can’t swim : -)
