Knocking with RealMe1

Well, you may all have read many things about RealMe1, Best phone to buy, worst phone if you buy etc. Let me tell you one thing, in todays world all mobiles are good and all mobiles are bad. It depends on the user. I am also a user of RealMe1 64 Gb variant, and I never go by brand or exceptional features. Personally I always love to give a try / chance to new entrant. Previously I have been using LeEco 1s and before that Gionee Elife E6. Both phones exceptionally well.  When I bought LeEco, I realized one thing never to buy a smartphone more then a certain range. Reason being, every now and then mobile companies keeps confusing us with new launch and specifications, making the existing phones out of the market and creating a curiosity to buy the latest.

Now, Real Me1 - What to say! OPPO you have done a good job. This is my first experience with OPPO. I always felt OPPO didn’t have any mobile with good specs at minimal price. You guys were always on the higher side. But this time you have taken the market. I am glad I am one of your buyer For the users who are still confused whether to buy RealMe 1 or not, I would say dont waste your time, just feel it.

Quality of Built - Top class, specs, no doubt on Helio P60 is excellent. Features - Plenty. You feel something in your hand want to keep always looking it .  The mobile plastic case which is given is so attractive and good quality, that you wont be interested in buying another from a local vendor. Trust me on that.

Where OPPO could have done better -  Personally to me I dont mind if there is no notification LED or Finger Sensor, because I feel it actually saves battery. Sometimes constantly blinking irritates you and you tend to waste time grabbing the mobile again and again.  Many reviewers have told finger sensor should have been given as competitors are giving at this price range, Agreed!  But I want to ask you all, Does finger sensor don’t lag or sometimes dont respond? It does. But what I feel and read the mind of OPPO team, they are bringing new concept and want to enter the next step quickly with face sensor and I am sure going forward there will be huge competition, "on who is giving better face unlock feature"

Now talking about the battery, I am so surprised with the response from RealMe1 3410 mah  and trust me I was so worried because my LeEco had 3000 mah and buying new mobile with just 400 mah increase, but let me tell you. I tried with two scenarios - 1st  - Switching off my data and WIFI at 33% and next morning when I checked the battery remained at 32%. I was excited and really wanted to throw away a party. 2nd - At 64% both WIFI and mobile data ON, next morning the battery was at 61%. WOW!  I am very happy that I made a good decision. Media-tek processor is solid.

Where OPPO can do better -  Camera.No doubt its a killer. Front or back.

Sound quality its high. But still it can improve. While locking or unlocking you hardly hear any sound.  I have asked OPPO team to work on it and release a patch update.

Face Unlock - Working properly. But 50% . Night issue still there at times. I would want to see its quality upto 90%.

Inside features like "Lockscreen magazine where your background wallpaper tend to change whenever you press the power button. hmm there is issue but not sure why. Will update it to OPPO team.

Another interesting thing which I noticed is - sometimes your mobile data or WIFI connectivity is not that much powerful if I compare to my LeEco 1s or Lenovo or Motorola. Its certainly not network issue.  Even I noticed when you download something from playstore using WIFI or Mobile Data, compare to other mobiles its bit slow( OPPO please check), but once downloaded, the installation happens in seconds.

Overall I want all readers to understand . every mobile has some positive and negative and it will be like this . But what suits best to your pocket go for it. But never be afraid to try something new. Please go ahead and try out the RealMe1. You will not be disappointed. Very soon RealMe2 is also on the way!

Thanks
