Review : Intro:-an interdental brush is asmart version of a toothpick, & it does just & more! basically it is a miniature bottle brush used to clean spaces between teeth. The ORAL-B type has a handle & 5 tips which are inserted into the handle. It is used to keep spaces between teeth free of food debris & plaque [the ever present sticky film of germs which is the cause of most of our dental problems].
It is also useful for cleaning under fixed artificial teeth [bridges]. ORAL-B has very soft & flexible bristles unlike other ones [eg.plakoff proxa]. Each tip lasts for about 3 months, so 1 brush will last 8-10 months depending on use. Other brushes have a fixed tip to the handle &are also quite stiff. All said and done good value for money @ Rs.75/-
I wonder why there is not aggressive mktg. for such a great product; my dentist[bless him] was the one to recommend it to me.
PS- you don’t get refills for the tips as the whole thing is imported! you have to throw away the handle after the all the tips are used up.
TIP- keep the tip in the handle till it breaks, don’t remove after every use!
