I have been a cellular user since the last 4 years. I had to switch from one service to other for various reasons in the past ranging from network problems to incorrect billings to insufficient facilities as compared to its counter part in the market. I have used both prepaid as well as billing cards to adjust to my needs from time to time.
But of late the service has been very pathetic. I am currently an ORANGE prepaid user from Mumbai. The problem faced not only by me but many others in my group, family and friends is the volatile nature of the balance in our prepaid cards. The talk time just evaporates with out any usage.
1 The company claims to be offering 30 second pulse but the fact is that when you use for exact 30 seconds you are automatically charged for the next pulse as well.
2 The problem quite often faced by me is when I talk for some where around 27 - 29 seconds I am automatically charged for the next pulse.
3 The Customer Support Representatives on thier board numbers not only give wrong information but are also rude when confronted. It was due to the incorrect information received by them that I lost quite a lot of money.
4 The CEO of the company Mr. Asim Ghosh claims in his speeches that the customer is the king, customer is always right and that I am here just because of my customers, where as Mr. Marcus Vaz holding a responsible position in the company treats the subscribers as dirt. He thinks that he is the owner of the company and makes irresponsible comments while on the phone.
Its high time some legal action is taken against them.
