Earlier I was a prepaid user of BPL mobile. Although the customer service of BPL was excellent, but roaming and other facilities was not provided. So I jumped on to orange thinking that they have very good network coverage and customer services.
But just after 2 weeks, my phone got disconnected. Whenever I went to the orange customer care (Borivli) they made me wait for hours and used to give me the same reply, that the fault is from the main network and will get it solved within an hour.
Well, their hour came after 5 days, my phone got activated after 5 days out of which 3 days I spent visiting the customer care getting the same reply everyday.
Ultimately fed up of their service I speaked to the customer exec. on the orange hotline (Lucky me! I got connected) and my problem was solved.
Then the next day orange customer exec. called and apologised for their services.
I would just like to say that when we default or our payment or do not refill within grace period, our phone gets disconnected, But I would like to ask these companies that when they disconnect the service for 5 days without any fault of the user, will the company extend the 5 day period to his billing cycle???
In India we still compromise with services. I think its time now to wake up and make people aware of these kind of poor services.
