When I contacted the Orange Pune office, they gave me the number of Mr. Rohan Kaushik. On the first appearance he was very gentle and modest and gave me quotation of 7500.
But he mentioned the extra tax on top of that amount. It was fine and I asked them to go ahead. But next day morning after packing the amount gone upto 14K including tax, Mathadi, Toll, Octroi etc. It was absurd for me. But still I said them to continue as I heard good things about Mr. Kaushik from web.
Problem started after I arrived in Hyd. Mr. Kaushik promised that they deliver the items door to door with good care and they included the unpacking charges on paper. But in Hyd a truck driver called me and said your items will be delivered today and you have to pay extra amount for the truck and they won’t unpack. I said why is it. He said they are not from Orange.
There is no one from Orange and they unloaded from the main truck and they will deliver the shipment in a small tempo. No one from Orange will come. His behavior was so rude when he was talking that it seemed to me that he has no responsibility as he is not from Orange. I called Kaushik. He said that he is in Hyderabad and asked me to give him the truck drivers number.
I do not know what he talked but nothing changed. The same story continued for next 3 hrs. After that finally in a small tempo the shipment arrived in my apartment. Tempowala said they will only unload the goods in front of the tempo and they will not take it to first floor. I asked why. They said again that we are not from Orange. In the meantime I called Orange office as Kaushik was disconnecting the phone and taking no responsibilities. From Orange office one lady took my consignment number but she had no clue what is the consignment number and what to do with that. She said someone will call him back. But as usual no call came to me. Finally I paid some amount to the tempowala and pleaded them to carry my goods to first floor. I had to unpack my things at my own. In the meantime my Digital Tv dish was twisted at one corner. My two wheeler got a few scratches as well though they were packed with covers.
I heard from the tempowala that this guy Kaushik, does the the things in this way only. They dump the shipments in a location in Hyderabad and handover the items to local tempos without their own representatives. I feel that Mr. Kaushik may be running his own business under the hood of Orange without any responsibility. He is a liar with sweet talks in his mouth. This man is crap. Please be careful from his trap.
My suggestion is to book some renowned packers not this crap Orange. Others may take 2K extra but there is no headache in that. I did the same previously with a good packer. But this time it was my mistake to choose Orange. Completely worthless, irresponsible crooks.
