Really works

A long time ago there was this kid who had a hell loada dandruff on his hair. One day he tries this shampoo and within 2 weeks his hair is totally dandruff free. 5 years later he decides its about time someone wrote a review about this product.

Anti dandruff shampoo have a different formula to regular shampoos. The formula is supposedly better at removing dead skin cells and leaving some stuff on the scalp that reduces the shedding of white skin flakes which are what we see as dandruff particles.

The recommended routine for those with dandruff prone hair is that they leave the shampoo on for around 1 to 5 minutes depending on how often the shampoo is used. One minute should be enough for those who wash their hair every other day and five to ten minutes is for those who have severe dandruff and haven’t tried using this shampoo before.

A word of warning though. Dandruff is a chronic condition of the scalp and there really is no quick cure if any for it. Dandruff returns if Anti-dandruff shampoos are not used for a long time. Dandruff returns for me if I dont use this shampoo for around 1 or 2 weeks.

I also would suggest anyone who uses this shampoo to first oil their hair with something like ’Dabur Vatika premium coconut oil’ and then shampoo their hair. The reason for this is that this shampoo is a bit strong (as required to get rid of those dead skin cells) and the oil reduces the drying effect and also leaves an additional coating of ingredients that soothe the scalp. The warmer the oil, the better.

Unfortunately, the original recipe for organics anti-dandruff shampoo has been changed and replaced with a new one. The new one still is just as effective as the old one at removing and keeping dandruff at bay. Personally I prefer the old formula because it left my hair feeling a bit better than the new one and it had a better scent (better as in the new recipe still has a good scent but not as good as the older one to me)

Still I highly recommend the use of this shampoo for those with dandruff prone hair.
