I opened a student account with OBC in 2010 as they opened it with my college id card and they offered me only an ATM card to withdraw money and they say that they have no policy in which they can offer cheque book and internet banking facilities. At that time I thought it is better to have a bank account rather than not to have it.
Everything was ok with the bank but recently in Jan my ATM card got expired and they haven t provided me a new ATM card till now. Whenever I visits their branch, they continously make excused that the person who is responsible to issue is on leave, ATM card unavailable in the branch and sometimes they dealys it by keeping me standing and I myself after frustration comes back home,
Finally I thought that its better to close the account than to have ATM card with such a customer unfriendly bank.
Very poor service and everytime you will find long ques as the person are not efficient there and they are busy with their family people over the phone.
