As in opened my bank account with the Oriental Bank of commerce in 2014.as and now. I have my only one account with this bank and based on my experience I have observed it is one of the nicest bank in Goverment Banking.
Yes, although I usually withdraw and deposit my money with this bank.
Actually I opened my account due to Jan dhan Yojana initiated by the prime minister of india MR. Narendra Modi. though they introduce the vision to open your bank account at zero balance . not only this benefit was given on opening of such account also you will get Life insurance cover premium along with this account .
It is like two two benefits in combo without spending a single penny of your money.
I usually visit the branch in twice in week.so as to update my passbook.
But there is one thing which I do not like about this Bank
That is.
There is no connectivity with the Internet Banking unless you do fill with an application form. .in other banks i’ve found that at the time opening of your account your internet banking User id has been created at that time. you just have to Activate by login in their website . like the facility provided by the ICICI Bank.
So in my opinion they should work on it. to improve their performance so as to get good customer satisfaction from their side.
I should refer this bank which they have are around nearby local area. and it have good relationship with the staff members of the Bank. and otherwise it is very co operative bank the stuff of this bank are quite much helpful all the time
But there is lack of ATM outlets of Oriental Bank of commerce. I’ve found. .it should extend the number of ATM outlets around all over the place in Delhi.
and it really have a good customer service.
