Unlike a lot of other creams, my pores don’t feel clogged with the Royal Velvet Firming Day Cream which is a huge plus for me. Along with the sun protection, it moisturizes well too. Oriflame claims that using the day cream with the night cream enhances the firming up process and reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Upon usage, I found that the night cream is similar to the day cream, in terms of texture and is quite lightweight too. It’s easily absorbed by the skin and leaves behind no residue. Used together, the creams can easily last you for around six months making the cost factor seem a little less painful : P. Overall, fantastic products both and an investment you should definitely consider making.2. Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face PrimerThe Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer now allows you to sport flawless makeup all day long. Just one application in the morning is enough to keep your skin fresh and radiant all day long. The emollients present in the primer give your skin an even, glowing finish that ensure you make heads turn all day, every day.Makeup that lasts all day longSkin gets soft, even and radiant due to the presence of light diffusing properties and emollientsMattePerfect base for makeupLotion like consistencyOveruse may lead to oiliness, recommend use in very minute quantitiesEffect of the primer doesn’t last longOriflame Beauty Perfecting Face PrimerIs it the water? Is it the pollution? Is it the.I don’t really know, but uneven skin, spots, and tans are common with everyone these days which is why I’ve always considered it wise to have a solution handy. Lucky for me, Oriflame’s Beauty Perfecting Face Primer does just that.Contained within a simple white tube, the primer has a cream like consistency that makes it easy to apply. Beware of using more than 2-3 drops though, as the primer is thick and overdoing it might make your skin look greasy and block your pores ( hello breakouts! ) . That said, this primer is intended for use as a base under your regular makeup, and taken in that sense, it certainly is value for money. I found that it did a good job of hiding the tiny spots on my face, and evens out the tan to give my skin a more uniform look. I followed the primer up with my regular makeup, and a pressed compact to top it off and seal the deal. The effect lasted me a good 4-5 hours, so I can’t complain. However, considering Oriflame’s claim of a primer that lasts you all day, this definitely falls short. But if you ignore that part, it’s a pretty decent primer. Even for people that don’t apply makeup, what I liked best about using the cream is that its concealer effect provides a soft matte finish that does away with the need for using a compact or BB cream. All in all, a good investment.3. Oriflame Very Me Cherry My Cheeks BlushOriflame’s Very Me Cherry My Cheeks Blush goes on like velvet to give you beautifully highlighted cheeks for the perfect rosy finish.Rich pigmentationStays for longEasy to blendPowder blush ( for those who prefer them over a cream blush) Oriflame Very Me Cherry My Cheeks BlushSo, I came across the Very Me Cherry My Cheeks Blush in the Sweet Coral shade in the Oriflame catalog. Of late, I’ve been experimenting with a lot of coral shades, and this pretty blush was an absolute must-have! I didn’t care much for the packaging since it makes the product look cheap, but it’s easy to carry around in a small bag which is a huge plus. The color itself is a cute, summery coral pink that’s just the right amount of pink for me. The pigmentation of the blush is a great talking point too—as a brown complexioned woman, I rarely find a product that doesn’t need at least two-three strokes for the color to show up. That wasn’t a problem I faced with this Very Me Cherry My Cheeks blush though, and for that, I award it an extra star. Go for it you guys, I’m sure you won’t regret it.4. Oriflame The ONE IlluSkin FoundationFormulated using the HaloLight ™ technology that reflects light from the skin’s surface, Oriflame’s The ONE IlluSkin Foundation evens skin tone and avoids the formation of an oily sheen, giving you an all-natural look.Evens out the skin toneOil-freeEasy to blendEasy to build upSPF 20Oriflame The ONE IlluSkin FoundationOriflame’s The ONE IlluSkin Foundation comes in four shades—Porcelain, Nude Pink, Natural Beige and Olive Beige. As a brown woman, I was confused between Natural Beige and Olive Beige, and finally settled on the former—a good choice as you’ll find out shortly. ( If you’re fair/medium toned, porcelain and nude pink are yours to grab) . Oriflame’s foundations have always been a good bet, if you’ve ever used their Dual Core Foundation, you’ll know what I’m talking about. So, of course, I went in with a lot of expectations with this one and boy am I glad Oriflame didn’t disappoint me! The IlluSkin Foundation has light to medium coverage which makes it perfect to wear on a regular basis. I’ve used it on multiple occasions now, and it never feels too cakey, or like I’ve sentenced my skin to death by suffocation by wearing it. It’s easy to work with too and settles on the skin quite naturally. A good fit, provided the Very Limited Range of shades available works for you ( Oriflame, are you listening? ) . If they do, then make sure you don’t pass them up! 5. Oriflame The ONE Eyeliner StyloA felt tip eyeliner that glides on as one smooth line without having to be dragged or stopped. Provides 24-hour long lasting definition. Oriflame’s the ONE Eyeliner Stylo comes in two shades—black and blue—both of which are keepers, and if you’re the kind that can’t deal with liquid eyeliners, then you need to get your hands on these already. Thanks to their rich pigmentation, I found that using these eyeliners was effortless. If you’ve ever tried felt tip liners previously, then you’ll know that most felt tip liners need some extra tugging, especially at the outer corners of the eyes which wasn’t a problem I faced with these, so yay! The eyeliners have good staying power too and come off only if you rub your eyes ( the fact that they don’t bleed unlike a liquid liner is another plus) . If only Oriflame had made these waterproof too, I’d be sold for life.6. Oriflame Wonder Colour Lip LinerAvailable in 4 shades, the Oriflame Wonder Colour Lip Liner is a retractable liner that glides on smoothly on the lips and comes with self-sharpening action. So, I was going for a vintage cocktail look recently which necessitated heavy, full lips with soft waves and that’s what made me pick up this lip liner. To start with, I really liked how heavily pigmented it was thanks to which I didn’t have to reapply it multiple times. The liner is soft and creamy and really does glide on smooth. It’s easy enough to blend in with your whichever lip color you might choose to wear. It has great staying power too; In fact, by the end of the evening, it lasted longer than my lipstick so that’s saying something. Not giving it the full five stars only because I haven’t used it enough number of times to vouch for it completely, but if you’re a lip liner kinda girl, you must give these7. Oriflame Love Nature Face Toner Tea TreeBringing the goodness of nature to your doorstep, Oriflame’s Love Nature Face Toner Tea Tree has the goodness of several antibacterial components that help target blemishes and cleanse the skin from within. An effective astringent toner, it helps tighten the pores of the skin and leaves you looking fresh and young.Parabens-freeEffective acne controlFragrantNot recommended for people with dry skinOriflame Love Nature Face Toner Tea TreeIf you’re into makeup, then CTM ( cleansing, toning, moisturizing) is a routine you ought to be following like ritual—I most certainly do. However, the review for this particular product has been brought to you, not by me, but my sister as she has acne-prone skin and is quite the expert at these things : P‘If you suffer from acne and are prone to outbreaks, then a good toner is a must as it helps clear up the accumulation of oil and dirt ( major perpetrators of acne) . Oriflame’s Love Nature Face Toner Tea Tree scores here due to the presence of Tea tree oil which is a widely acknowledged antibacterial compound. Upon regular usage, I found that the toner did work on the oiliness and kept my face clear of not just the big sized pimples, but tiny outbreaks like blackheads too. It has a nice, clean fragrance too that I found soothing. Overall, a good product that I’ll continue using. However, since it’s been formulated for oily/combination skin, people with dry skin would probably be better off using another toner.’8. Oriflame Pure Colour Intense LipsticksOriflame’s Pure Colour Intense Lipsticks offer you high coverage and rich colors with a great pay off at the most affordable prices. The intense moisturization formula imparts a smooth feel to the lips. Available in multiple shades.Creamy textureRich pigmentEasy to applyAffordablOriflame Pure Colour Intense LipstickThough my first lipsticks came from Oriflame’s collection, over the years, I’ve moved on to other brands. Still, as they’re quite affordable and are available in a variety of shades, they’re quite popular with a lot of women and henceSo, I picked up Oriflame’s Pure Colour Intense Lipstick in Fabulous Fuchsia for this review. I wore it for a day out with my girls and am happy to report that it did a good job. The lipstick has a good color pay off and came on in a single swipe. It has a soft, creamy texture that made it easy to apply. It’s neither glossy nor matte, so if you want to mattify it like I did, you might want to go the old ‘dab-on-the-tissue’ route. My only concern with it was that it didn’t stay on for as long as I would’ve liked and started to transfer once I began to eat. Knocking a star off for that. Otherwise, a great option for college kids and youngsters especially.9. Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed PowderAn ultra-fine powder, the Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder helps you achieve even, light skin that doesn’t look made up. The mineral Zeolite present in it helps tone the skin, giving it a smooth appearance. Comes with a powder puff and mirror within the case.Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder ReviewI’ll be honest, my review of Oriflame’s Pure Colour Pressed Powder is kinda mixed. While it’s widely popular thanks to its suitability to the Indian skin, not to mention how affordable it is, I personally found that I’d prefer using another compact to this. I’m not into heavy makeup, preferring to use it as a light base for everyday things but this particular compact is heavy and sits as such on the skin. It is also curiously fragrant which I don’t care much for as it adds to the feeling that I have something on my face. The coverage itself is alright, and it doesn’t flake or look patchy which is great. A couple of people I know have found that it comes off ashy on their skin. That wasn’t a problem to me ( I used the shade for dark skinned women) but since they don’t cater to a range of shades, you’d be well advised to test the compact shade on yourself ( either borrow it from a friend or walk down to the nearest store) before placing an order.I really love it .its easy to use.
