My experience when I gave my bike for servicing:-
**Abstract:**
Stole my bike fuel after giving for Servicing (read below for details). And they said they will give it at 3 pm and it was delivered at 6:30 pm. Worst place to hand over your bike. Moreover, the bike wont be serviced. It is just waste of money, instead give it to a local mechanic, he will do it better.
**What I faced**:
The fuel gauge on the bike displayed 2 bits of fuel before I gave my bike for serving. After it was serviced, it started displaying 1 bit blinking.
For this, I got it to their attention. At first I was treated very much brashly and in a rude manner by a mechanic and his supervisor "Naresh." I spent half an hour with them, and all they tried to do was to send me away by giving some or the other technical reason. Then I had to go to the Manager as these two people were misbehaving and shouting at me for asking them to explain "why the less fuel?"
When I went to the Manager, even then they (Manager, Naresh, and the mechanic) tried to send me with some random excuses. We conducted a test all my fuel was emptied and checked if my claim was correct. Yes! the fuel was less. Still they said there must a issue with the fuel gauge.
After spending 2 hours of convincing and some tests done by their team, we decided to come to a conclusion by conducting a final test by my self the next day at home. Based on the check/test next day, it was clear and evident the fuel was less.
I had to get back to them again I had to go by and pick the fuel which I lost. Instead I took 100 rs and came out, as I did not want to drag it with them.
Moreover, on the day when I went to pick my bike from servicing. It took them 45 mins to just deliver my bike.
On the day I gave my bike for servicing, I faced a headache followed by a migraine. I almost lost my debit card because of the rush, headache, migraine and torture.
All together it was a pathetic experience and my bike feels like it was not even serviced. This is the worst place to give your bike for servicing.
Yamaha makes good bikes, but most of their service stations are pathetic! (at-least the ones ive been to (Sprint Yamaha and Orion motors, Bangalore).
(Guys remember to check every drop of fuel before you give your bike for servicing over here).
I used to have a Honda earlier, where the serving was simply amazing. I felt it after every service I had. This makes me feel, I should have gone for a Honda.
