Orkut is a known name to all de guys n gals of dis century or shuld I say the GENNEXT.....Offices, Cyber cafes, Homes, Schools...wherever u go u find sum one or de other logged in in2 dis....well I m no exception... I cum in de same genre.... ;)
So here I m .....Wat do I say... I got introduced to "Orkut" aftr I joined my job in 2006 and was very excited to find many of my school n college frnds....n catch up wid dem......Then there was more to it games, videos, pics and more n more applications n communities to browse thru n have fun..N then one day I woke up 2 reality.......Orkut is not dat safe .....de pics dat r loaded can easily be copied and many identities created wid de same name and pic...
N here the nitemare begins tough I havn’t faced it yet but nyone....an unknown stranger can enter ur profile create another wid de same name use it n make frnds wid ur frnds potrayin u, know dere secrets n all....its out of imagination how deadly can dis turn into what if an unknown person added 2 ur list is a criminal or for that matter a terrorist...u nvr know coz....an id doesn’t have faces!!!!All said n done I still feel Orkut is a wonderful thing only if u know whr 2 draw de line....n how 2 use it properly.....Do not disclose ur address, phone number etc. coz u nvr know who mite use it against u.....
Ur frnds know u n so dey do hav ur details so y make it available on a public profile!!!!N abt pics......wats de point 2 show de world wat u r upto...... its ur private life n keep it a private affair!!!share wid ur frnds thru picasso web albums or sumthin like dat....y make it a "Sarbajanik property"!!!!!!N last and de most important only add people u personally know!!!! :DHope my review didn’t scare u folks........Chill n have fun....Life’s is all abt njoyin juz b a bit careful......Cheese!!!!!!!!
