A place where one can keep his/her network of friends..and even grow it!
To start on you need to have a Gmail ID or an invitation from an Orkutian (Orkut member); jus like Gmail thing. Once you get any of these..you are on!
Start adding friends to your list and keep scrapping..oh..forget to tell ya..Scrapping means writing any message to your friends Scrapbook! But mind you..pull back your naughty horsey ideas back..the scraps are public and anyone visitng the Scrapbook can see them. So be careful with writing those naughty scraps.
Hey hold on..thats not over..its not jus about only writing scraps..n dont be heartbreak!..if you always wanted to send a personal message..the one which can only be seen by the receiver..you can go to message section and Compose a new message..which can be sent to any of your friends (i mean from your friends’ list).
Hey but how about letting others know about you..don worry..we got a so known method here..creating profile..this is done when you create your account..but never mind..you can always have them done later anytime..i havent comleted mine till now ;) heehee..hmm..so lets get back!
So done with the profile thing..you know am very forgetful about Birthdays..but Orkut..such nice of you reminding me those forgotten birthdates in advance..yes it reminds you about Birthdates around 2 weeks in advance!!
Hold on..but how about any common place for meeting and sharing..worry not dear..you can join communities for that..these are created and controlled by jus anyone who thinks that he should start a community!! you can always join them..but after the moderator (the owner member) allows you!
You must be wondering why have I only listed Good things and not a songle bad word..coz the Bads are way too less for me to writing bad for Orkut!! Beleive me..its a cool tool to have your pals be always with you..and to have new ones coming your way.
You know I got to now about my many way long forgotten friends through Orkut only..and now I can message them..talk to them..n even wish them Merry Christmas!!
