I got a 10 minue break from work. I quickly go out, have a smoke and rush back to my desk and log on to to my sole tool of escapism- orkut.com. is that cute girl from my college online? has anybody scrapped me? hey who is this this person who has visited my profile?well is all of the above you? or a part of it? well if it is, welcome to the orkut addiction club!!!what is that about orkut that we love so much that we log on to it the minute we are free?it may be because of the following reasons:
We get to meet our ol’ crushes ( which could be a zillion years ago)it gives us an oppurtunity to prey on other people’s business by viewin their scrap book (i swear I don’t do that!!! and i’m sure you don’t either!!!, yeah right!!!)we get to see if that cute babe from my school has turned into an ugly duckling I wish she would when she rejected me!!!we compare which of us from school & college turned out to be the most successful( which obviously means who is earning the big bucks!!!)it brings back memories( some happy & mostly very happy memories).
As once again we meet the people with whom these memories are associated.and most importantly, orkut gives us a second chance. a second chance to get in touch with all our old friends whom we did not bother to stay in touch with!!!so guys, don’t let go of this chance & keep orkutting!!!cheers
