This was an impulse buy, I admit. In hindsight, I think this was totally unnecessary, since my primary purpose was to use it to whip cream. Since the motor speed is not adjustable, and it works only on a high-speed setting, it whips cream all the way to the butter stage, which totally ruins the purpose. Its also a pain to clean, since it has no detachable parts, and you need to take extra care not to spill water anywhere around the motor. So currently, I use it to make lassi/smoothies and leave it at that. I use the hand-blender for whipping cream and the mixer for making chutneys.
