I purchased this iron from amazon great indian festival sale for rupees 400 including delivery charges I purchsed this in month of September and this is my review after using this iron for around one and a half month.
LOOKS:
This iron box looks good and I totally agree that this iron box doesn’t looks like any cheap iron box so in terms of looks it looks quite good and it comes only in a single color that is blue and white.
BUILD QUALITY:
the plastic used in this iron box is not of good quality the plastic body breaks very easily. A single fall is more than enough to fully damage this iron box, in pictures its build quality looks good but actually the build quality of this iron box is quite poor.
WEIGHT:
The weight of this iron box is quite less and therefore its easy to move this iron box but due to very light weight the effect of this iron box on clothes is not that good.
POWER RATING:
This is a 1200watt iron, this is quite surprising because in this range we usually get a 1000 watts iron box, I think this is the main usp of this product.
HEATING:
This iron box heats very quickly by very quickly I mean very quickly because of which this iron sticks to clothes and even I ended up wasting two of my shirts, and because of over heating the lower pannel also becomes black and gets damaged very quickly, my iron lasted for 1 month and now the lower pannel is completely rusty in color and it’s no more of my use.
CABLE:
the cable is of good quality and it’s quite long and durable there are no such problems with the cable.
AUTO OFF FEATURE:
yes this iron is also having auto cut feature, but this feature works after the iron has heated a lot and you clothes are ready to burn so I won’t suggest you to rely on this feature and rather mannualy adjust the temperature.
SERVICE AND WARRANTY:
This iron comes with a warranty of 12 months but that is of no use as this product is purchased online so no service centre will provide you the benefits of warranty this I came to know when I took my iron box to orpat authorised service centre and they refused to provide BENIFITS of warranty.
FINAL VERDICT:
This deal by Amazon looks quite good but think twice before purchasing this iron box, Amazon is a good site but this deal by Amazon is not a good one.
