I visited Oudh 1590 with my family to have dinner on 11th November. We took a cab from Jadavpur at around 8:20 PM and reached the restaurant at around 8:55 PM.
When I entered inside the restaurant, the first thing I noticed is the decor of the place. It is well decorated with lights, glass paintings in the walls, and has very good wooden furnitures and amazing wooden finishing on the walls.
The ghazals playing in the background will take you back to the Awadhi Culture of 1590s. It was completely a different ambience . For a moment of seconds, it seemed to me as if we are in 1590.
The food are really delicious here . We ordered Lucknowi Paratha, Galawati Kebab and Awadhi Handi Biriyani. Lucknowi Paratha was very soft, crisp and the taste was incredible. Coming to Galawati Kebab, it was the most delicious Kebab I have eaten in my life. Awadhi Handi Biriyani was awesome too, the flavours were just brilliant.
The staffs are friendly and courteous.
Price is bit expensive but the restaurant’s wonderful ambience and great food quality gives value for money.
After a great time having our dinner in Oudh 1590, we returned home at around 10:15 PM.
If you are a foodie, it is a must visit place for you.
