The ambience in this place is great, undeniably so. I have been visiting here for a long time now, but my last three visits have been less than happy.
For one, the food quality seems to have gone down tremendously. Besides the Bruchetta, the food has started tasing extremely average. Nothing we have ordered in the last few months has been "good". And usually atleast 4-5 of us go together, so we land up trying a lot of dishes. However, the ambience makes up for the food I have always felt.
What really made me rate this as poor is the deterioration of service. HORRIBLE SERVICE. First when we went, we were made to wait for 10 minutes before they could tell us how long it would take to give us a table. Then when we got the table a while later, and placed the order, the experince became nightmarish.
Only half the starters arrived half an hour later, so I gave them a reminder for the soup and remaining starters. Suddenly they land up with half of they main course! We couldnt return them because they were sizzlers and would taste bad till we waited for soup and starters. So we cancelled the soup.
After that, despite repeated reminders they did not serve half the maincourse. 20 minutes later, when the other had finished eating, they land up with the remaining food, which we politely refused. Then we spoke to the manager. After that, the waiter comes with regular water, and pours it into our glasses which had mineral water! Why did we order mineral water? Which they charged us for btw.
If you are going only for the ambience this is the place. Anything else, please go elsewhere!
