Tucked away in a little corner of Khar is a tiny but immensely
popular restaurant called Out of The Blue! Out of The Blue specializes
in sizzlers and once you’ve tried them there you’ll want to keep going back for more!
What’s unusual about the sizzlers here, is that you can mix and match the ingredients and custom make your own sizzler.
A variety of sauces are available to suit every palette. My favorite here is the Barbecue sauce that wickedly teases your tastebuds with its spicy and tangy flavor. You can take your pick of vegetables or meat and also choose the size of your sizzler. There are the regular sized ones for those of you with a larger appetite and smaller ones for those of you with humbler appetites. If you’re not a French Fries person, you could opt the starch portion of your meal from spaghetti or buttered rice or even a delightful serving of mashed potatoes. There are also add-ons, which you could ask to be added to your sizzler for a nominal extra price.
There is an array of flavored Iced- Teas too that you could order and sip along and an unusual and exotic but limited dessert selection that would perfectly polish off your meal- Fresh fruit and ice- cream platters flambéed with brandy! There are cheese fondues available here too but my loyalties lie strictly with the sizzlers.
The atmosphere here is light and perky and very trendy. The service is quick and the staff is pretty helpful too and you might just bump into a few famous faces or celebrities here occasionally too.
A reservation on a weekend night might be more helpful in fetching you a table considering the large groups of hungry sizzler lovers that throng here. An average meal for two with beverages and desert included wouldn’t go beyond Rs. 500. So the next time, you’re in the vicinity of Khar or Bandra and feel like downing a scrumptious sizzler, you know where to drop in.
