In the day of television and instant news on internet, one might wonder if there is any place for a magazine that is published only once every seven days. But I think there is. And Outlook is living proof of that. This is because newspapers and TV are basically headline service. They tell you what happen, not the how and why of it. This is where Outlook comes in. It explains many aspects of a certain news item and at times, comes out with stories that the dailies have missed. Or ignored. For instance, a recent issue had something about destitute cattle being sheltered by a single family. A heart-warming story without a doubt. We find similar pieces every now and then.
All told, a good interesting magazine to read.
