I have been a big fan of cakes from Ovenfresh, which we order often for any birthday in our office. So I was very keen to try the restaurant at Ovenfresh. I went there along with my wife on 14th January 2012 at around 3:30 pm. There was a 30 minute waiting. And yes there is no sitting area for waiting. There was another section that opens only in peak hours, I was wondering why they could not make us sit there. We ordered a pizza and enchiladas. They are very slow in serving food. Pizza came after 15 mins (that’s not bad at all), but enchiladas came after 25 mins, we had asked for corn and cheese enchiladas, but he bough bean enchiladas.
While, he gracefully accepted changed the dish, that mean more time wasted (we waited for 15 minutes after our last bite of pizza was over to when enchiladas was served). The pizza, which according to the waiter there was their specialty, was average, nothing great. Then we ordered two pastries, which again disappointed us, they were hard, not the soft cakes that we have always had at our office, may be it was not fresh. And, in this whole one hour or more that we were at the restaurant, we asked the people there to increase the AC temperature, because it was too cold. Our requests were heard, but not acted upon.
Finally, the bill was Rs. 750 for two people, it is not exactly cheap considering what we had ordered. So my recommendation is avoid, if you want good continental food, there are better options....
