When I say bakery, I actually mean a great little cafe with an awesome dessert menu. I recently went to mumbai and my friend took me to over fresh soon after picking me up from the airport. I fell in love with their spinach quiche and had it every single day for the next 2 weeks (it helped that I stayed with my friend who lived next street!)!
I also tasted their equally wonderful panneer quiche, pepper tart and pastry menu. Their pastry corner has an eternal listing of chocolate creations (cakes, mousse, trifles) and also seasonal fruity ones - when I went, it was mango season and their mango-based desserts - mango mousee, mango cream cake, mango souffle you get the idea! - were phenomenal.
The cafe’s ambience was also tasteful and at the same time relaxed. their a la carte menu had some very interesting continental, mexican and italian offerings. Portions are usually large and can be shared by two. They only accept cash so don’t just take your plastic. The place is generally peopled by couples, friends and families. Definitely worth going at least once a week!
