I had to quickly book a hotel room in chennai. I booked a room at Hotel Poigai, and after the confirmation of payment, the confirmation page shows that checkin time is 12PM. I called the customer care, and requested for early checkin. Dispite of the fact that I wanted room only to freshup and had to leave chennai on same day, I agreed for early checkin fee. They said the early checkin fee would be Rs 299, but the Hotel Manger said its Rs500, and rudely ended the call(via OYO customer care). I mentioned OYO saying that, the hotel manager is rude, and is not supportive, and asked for alternate hotel. I called 6 times, and everytime I get a response saying I will get call back in 15 min which I never got. And OYO declined the refund which I requested immediately after booking.
Please do not book room via OYO, if you have to book, do not pay online. It is always safe to pay at hotel.
Worst experiene, and I am sure this firm is going to see a downfall in near future.
