I was using oyo app from past 1 year. But recently had noticed that these guys are too cunning that i experienced 2 worst situations in my life. While i booked online through oyo app, they charged me 1300 for single occupancy for 1 night at chennai. When i reached hotel, the hotel staff denied check in, while enquired they provide me proof that it states in there app that i had paid only 650rs for my booking which is not as per hotel tariff. I had to argue and fight with them for long to get inside the room on that first instance.
Again the same issue happened with other hotel, this time hotel owner was very adamant that he already have issue over finance with Oyo and he was not allowing any oyo bookings at his hotel. But oyo still sent guests at there place with less room rates, while actual fact is we as customers pay higher amount as rent.
This time neither oyo helpline nor their local manager is helping even after i called infinite times. Oyo management is bloody cheaters, same time they make money from bookings and by cheating hotel owners too. Its nightmare getting stucked nowhere at midnight even after we paid and confirmed room before heading for a travel.
