Terrible Hotel Chain

Please, never book with this chain. I booked the OYO hotel in Marianna, Florida from Nov 26- Dec 1, 2019. We were told by OYO customer service we could pay the deposit in cash. We get there and the owner of the hotel stated that is not their policy. We asked to see the rooms. The room I reserved had two roaches on the wall. I showed the owner. She stated I could cancel. However, now it is after 12 midnight and I cannot cancel via Hotels.com online. I called Hotels.com and they called the hotel. Once again the owner said she would not charge. However, two days later, I got charged. Terrible customer service between OYO and Hotels.com. Finally I disputed it with my bank and they credited back. However, after the investigation, OYO stated it was their policy if the cancellation is not made within the cancellation window to take all the money. Now my bank(Bank of America) is going to debit it back to my account. I am still fighting. Horrible experience and one of the worst hotel chains I have ever encountered.
