First of all very upset with OYO Team, my entire holiday was ruined by you people. My whole trip I was trying to connect you people but none helped me.
Every time I call OYO, I had to repeat the same old story. They asked by Booking ID, Name, and Hotel details my issue & later they kept me hold for 30 min & used to disconnect my call.
Firstly I booked the Hotel through OYO, hotel named Casa De Royal, Goa(4 star) & I had made the full payment. My stay was for 21 Nov to 25 Nov, 19. But on 20 Nov by OYO Team saying that my stay is cancelled by the owners & they won’t be providing any rooms for me. Later he told they will be providing me another property, and the one they provide me it was a budget property & was very bad. I just need to ask you when I booked for proper 4 star property how can you people cancel it & give me 2 star category properties. I was very upset with the service. When I booked, I looked into the amenities I wanted but the one you provided it didn’t even my expectations.
Also they agent told me he will get back to me with in 15 mins but I dint get any update from your agent. So I had to call them myself. Still they were confused within themselves & provided me a property which seemed to be good.
Next day i.e I reached the property, and for my bad luck there was no OYO Captin, he was somewhere far I had to call him, we waited him & later he came to the property. He handed the keys to us & showed us the room. And Then…. Tada…. We were surprised to see the rooms it was not even 1% as showed in the OYO website. It was pathetic! pathetic! pathetic!. Very poorly maintained. Rooms were stinking, Bed had dirty stains, Bathrooms were in bad condition & we found some unusual things there. Again I had to call the OYO People & explain my grievance, a lady agent responded to me & she seemed very unprofessional & was very rude in her way talking to me. She directly dined to change the rooms saying she can’t help me, I don’t know how they have been trained. I even shared the pictures to them but she seems least bothered to my problem . The lock from inside was broken & it was very scary to stay in there as well. The agent simply made me to hold the call for 15 mins & later she said to stay there only as there was no any rooms available, but in the OYO App it showed there were many rooms available. Forgot to mention you the Time was 10:00 in the night
Later on I asked them to give a room which was in the OYO Website, it was almost meeting the expectation of the property I booked for. I got the booking too, but they asked me to pay the extra amount. Why? OYO Team cancelled my booking & they made me pay extra, I had to pay because it was already 12:00 am(mid night) & I had no other option. But our surprise was not over, it still continued. They told it was “CAPITOL O Property” but it dint seem so, I have all the pictures of them. The hotel was under construction, we were dined to use swimming pool, they said the swimming pool is not working & they have already told the OYO Team about this. Isn’t it shocking? Already I was pissed of with so many this and again this. Once again I had to knock the door of OYO Customer care, I had to explain the same old story was mine, but they said they will get back to me, but they never call as they promise, I only had to call them, since it was my problem, this time also they dined to give me rooms. My question was when OYO can cancel my room why can’t they give me the rooms, I even made full payment. I was tired calling them & I gave up. I thought my holiday is gone & never gonna book with OYO. But not to forget the hotel people were so good, they were not “OYO PEOPLE”. So last day for my check out just wanted to leave the hotel & go back to my place, I got one more shocking news, it was “Hell, Shocking!”. That is we had to pay the hotel 7800/-. Whereas on the day of check inn I already paid 3000/-, again they told me I have to pay 7800, since OYO have not made our payment. I was supposed to travel 700 kms from Goa, but they didn’t give us the check out. Without any other option I had to Call OYO Agent, but they were like yes! You’ll have to pay, since you people are been shifted… was that an answer to be given? Did I cancel the booking, did I ask for pathetic Hotel? Did I knew th hotel which I wanted was under construction….? Did any agent mentioned me about the extra payment? NO! NO! Big No!. From 09:00 AM-12:00 PM I was simple made call every 15 mins . They kept saying me we will resolve the problem. Later they told pay the amount & OYO Can’t help me anymore. The person we was coordination with me simply gave up, he was a “Regional Manager”. Even he said he can’t help me & I had to travel 700 kms, so I paid from my own pocket & I check out.
Cause of OYO’s single mistake my whole holiday was ruined I couldn’t even enjoy a single day. From Day 1 to Day 5, I was only begging OYO Team to give me a good service but no…. it wasn’t helpful.
