Of Course the disease’projeria’ has been the background theme of the movie and the comic way of displaying it makes the film a real entertainer. Apart from the main theme the dialogs of the film and the number of social messages conveyed on various occasions needs appreciation. I would like to mention few of the social messages.
First of all the role of Abhishek Bacchan, a young politician appeals the Indian youths to join politics for the gainful utilization of their knowledge and enthusiasm for the betterment of the society. The role model may be Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot or Jyotiraditya Sindhia.
Next was the message on corruption: "Disease doesn’t go with the patient". Message is very clear, instead of dealing with corruption we need to deal with the system.
One more is the dialog between Abhishek and’Auro’ while returning from Rastrapati Bhavan speaks a lot about environmental issues, may it be public toilets or sewage/drainage system. These things need due considerations individually as well as socially.
And last but not the least, the way Abhishek faces media on both the occasions(First, to prove the need of planned residence for the urban poor and Secondly, to accept the Vidya Balan and’Auro’ and advocate the use of condom). These things need courage and strength to take a stand on controversial issues and prove your way of thinking.
Direction and Cinematography are already well-acclaimed and need not any more words of appreciation. The make-up of’Auro’ has been already passing to all through e-mail, which again can not be appreciated with mere words.
Would recommend the viewers to watch this movie in totality and concentrate on minute detailing that conveys various messages to the citizen of our nation.
