Paap
is the story of a girl who is very close to her father. Her father has always taught her to sacrifice, to lead this life without any kind of materialistic pleasures and that would make her new life after rebirth excellent .... She wants to lead her life like a normal girl .. do everything that all other girls do .. but her father’s ideologies stop her from that ............. and then enters John Abraham , a police officer .... who does not believe in rebirth .. who believes that he has only one life and he has to make the best out of it ........... The girl starts to fall in love with him .... but again the dilemna strucks her ....... They get close but the girl is confused because her mind and her heart are pointing in different directions ..... This goes on and it reaches a point where the father learns to let go .. He realizes that he has no business to impose his ideologies on his daughter .. The hero wins and the couple lives happily ever after .....
The performances are average.....John Abhraham is still better...... The movie has astounding music and it keeps u bound ...... The script is different but Pooja Bhatt has not been able to do justice to it ......... Over all, its a different movie with average handling and performances ............ It cannot be seen more than once .......
In my opinion a very promising and effective script has been wasted .......
