Morality and Desire!!

Writing this as random thoughts.......

Take Aways: The theme and the message is good and quite loud and clear in the movie. Theme being the tussle between morality and desire.

Thumbs Down: Story that has been weaved to potray the theme is needless and diverts ur attention towards silly tricks of bollywood... Some cheap action...u know dodging bullets n all...

The tussle between morality and desire...

which (We may admit or not...) often erupts within most of us, has been handled well.

As others on the other side of the fence may say...

it gives u a logic for crossing what the world calls morality, and your heart wants to defy coz there’s an urge to break that barrier.

But to me, it basically portrays the fact that morality and ethics and boundaries, are always to be defined by each individual. There’s nothing like norms... So be it...define ur own boundaries, and I wud go to the extent of saying... even extend them, when you feel like... coz u only live once, and this veil of ethics n morality are not taking you anywhere anyway!

One song (out of the two), is amazing...worth buying a cassette for that 1 song. Some actors have acted a little awkward...and it seems they’ve been told to do that... neways, All in all, worth watching once...

Story

Story is about this girl, who is to become a buddhist monk, and so she’s not supposed to indulge in any worldly activities etc... And through this somewhat cheap plot, John Abraham comes and stays at her place for a few days... She’s attracted to him, and vice versa...

And finally, John convinces her father that life is abt. living like u want, and not to stop living, and keep thinking what is moral n ethic and what’s not. Also that he can’t force her to live life according to his aspirations... So he should let her decide... n stuff...

Around this core, there’s is this plot of a gang war kind of a thing... Which doesn’t really convey much.
