I like your review because of the differentiation between love and lust. While love being eternal, lust is physical. The line that divide them is very strong still it is so thin that it breaks too often.
To be sensitive is the realisation of the same. But the fact that those who fall in lust does not necessary mean that they do not love or do not understand it. The understanding is that love can still be there even lust is overpowering. In fact love is every where, no matter if it is Veerappan or Phoolan Devi.
One just has to recognise it. Since love is a universal feeling it has nothing to do with any other characteristic of human being. Hence when Kaya was in lust, she may be in love with Shiven too. I have not seen the movie but I agree that it could happen. May be the director was not able to convey this message.
I believe that you agree with me.
