Review : I read the two reviews posted and I felt that I should give a real picture of what pabbas is . see one thing the ice creams are good there is no doubt about it, but they are not the best maybe you have not visited Iceberg(more than 100 flavours) and freeze both with a very good ambience an there is hangyos but it is an open air no ac Pabbas is part of ideals ice creams Ideals was my favourite when I was a kid I used to hog on gadbad and parfait very unique flavours but then I was just interested in eating icecreams and nutin else but as I grew up and started paying from my pocket and actually interacting with the waiter I found out that their service really sucks. The waiters act as if they are giving you free food. I had stopped going there altogether, then pabbas opened and I thought maybe they are gearing up for the competition as the place and the ambience is excellent but the service was still the same. Yes yes maybe some ppl reading this might say ...hey ! the waiter was ok with me . But then there is a 90% chance that you are girl yes the waiters are very nice to girls and rich ppl .the kind that are oozing rich.....i mean the kind of ppl whom you know are big shots as soon as you see them if you are a commonr a college student you get no service yes I have seen the waiter smiling at regular customers but here in mangalore itself consumer do not know what service is ....i mean in any other place when you enter the hotel the waiter will smile at you and try to be friendly untill you start tallking to him and prefer him .....they make an effort to know you and wish or smile at you the if you enter there for the second time like they know you ...in mangalore it is vice-versa the waiter never smiles at you never friendly answers you in monosyllables and he may start smiling at you if you make an attempt in being friendly otherwise they dont bother. Sometimes I wonder whos is the customer and who is the server . that is exactly the case in Pabbas Secondly they are not flexible I told them I dotn like ice cream with my fruit salad one waiter told me it comes with ice cream and I cannot remove it I got wild and shouted at him....... I mean is the ice cream stuck to the fruit salad or something then he gave me without icecream but still charges the same amount. ok no problem maybe they a very strict billing system so I tell him the next time put more jelly instead of the ice cream but he say that cannot happen. I did not want to fight again I dont go there anymore cos service is the main thing I stay away from home have been eating outside for almost 13 years all three meals in a day for me service really matter I cannot eat food or ice cream where they treat you like you are coming there to eat free and there should always be fexibility they should give what the customer want and not a ’’eat what is available or get lost attitude so I conclude that this place has good ambeince and good ice creams but I would not recomend it and would not go myself as there are better places in mangalore like Iceberg which is a very good parlour has 100 flavours a smal and cozy with ac and Freeze her also good ac and superb interiors and the best part they give really good service they make you feel special
