Pachmarhi is one of the best place for tourism in Madhya Pradesh. It is a very green and cool place. You cant travel whole Pachmarhi even in a week. There are many different places in Pachmarhi to visit. It has many hotels for staying in your budget. You can face a bit problems with mobile networks in there. You can visit many types of lakes falls and sightseeing in Pachmarhi. Total safety care is provided there including local Police and Guards. Pachmarhi is a tourism place under MP Tourism.
You can visit the following places in Pachmarhi-
Jatashankar: - This is a religious cave known after God Shiva. This cave is located in deep ravine, with enormous boulders perched above. This cave contains stalagmites revered as naturally formed lingams. This cave is very cool from inside and has many scriptures and statues of Shiva and other Gods.
Shri Panch Pandav Caves: - This is a historic place. In the hills there are 5 cave like structures called Pandav Caves. A bit of hill climb is required. One can see green beauty from the top. Also there are botanical garden at the foot of the hills.
Dhoopgarh: - It is the highest point in Satpura Range and in Madhya Pradesh. There are two points in Dhoopgarh, one is Sunrise point and another is Sunset point. Dhoopgarh is a bit far from Pachmarhi but its an miraculous place to visit. Its really an outstanding view from the highest point of MP.
Bee Fall: - An awesome scenic place to visit. Water falls from the height of about 300ft. To reach this place a local gypsy and a local guide is to be hired. Not allowed to take our own vehicles. To reach there you have to climb down 300 feet. An awesome and refreshing place to visit.
Dutchess Fall: - This place is wonderful having a superb fall covered with all natural beauty. To reach this place a bit of trekking is to be done about 3 kilometres. As you will reach there you will forget all your tiredness when you will sense the beauty and purity of nature.
These were 5 major places which I recommend to visit first. Still many more places are there to visit in Pachmarhi.
