I am writing my fifth review about visiting place in India on mouthshut.com. This time I am going to share my experience and memories about visiting place 'Pachmarhi'.
I went to Pachmarhi when I was in 4th standard with my family. My family members made a plan in April 2010 and we went there in summer vacation june 2010. We started our journey at 6: 00 a.m. by a car. We reached there at 10: 30 a.m. First we visited Mahadev hills. We have to trekk a long distance nearly 4km to reach this temple. There was plenty of monkey on that place. An old tree was full of 'Trishul'on the ground.
Then we visited deep inside the jungle of Pachmarhi, Apsara Vihar is a lovely, serene waterfall, cascading from 30 feet height and forming a pool of cold water below. This is one of the most popular haunts for travellers and picnickers to take a break from the monotony and spend some time splashing in the water and taking in the ambience of the place.
After that we reached 'Pandav Caves'. These caves are believed to provide shelter to the Pandavas during their exile period. It is now a protected monument and tourists flock from all over India to see this place. We also visted Chouragarh, Bee fall, Jata shakar mahadev, Rachat prajapat fall and Priyadarshini point. We could not visit some places more only because we had only a single day.
All places are full of beauty and there is lovely ambience. There is very good facility to stay in hotels but prices are little high. I strongly recommend this place to visit. This is one of the famous places in India and foreigners also visit in a plenty here. You should go there atleast once.
Thank you.
