Pacific Mall is Spacious

The Pacific Mall at the Maharajganj UP Delhi border in Ghaziabad is the latest addition in the Mallscape of NCR. This mall has got three screens Adlabs cimemas in addition to AEREN’s IMAX 3D theatre. Though I have not been to the 3D, the conventional theatres are good if not excellent.

Tthe ambience of Mall is too good because of its huge attrium and wide frontage. As soon as you enter the hall, you get a feeling of spaciousness since its hight to base ratio is better than that of eveneven Shipra Mall, which is known to be the most spread out one. Moreover whereas Shipra has huge open spaces outside the building, here the building itself covers enormous area. There are three shop floors including basement.

Parking space at the ground around the building is good. And the basement parking is off course spacious. But it is the callousness of the visitors combined with the lack of staff in the basement that sometimes results in car-locked vehicles(vehicles surrounded by other locked-in-gear-handbraked- vehicles). I faced my only such situation in any authorised parking here recently. Parking charges are OK at 15 flat, as compared to incremental charges at EDM, however more than 10 of Shipra Mall.

What I like most about this mall other than the space is its huge Food Court. The area is more than the EDM’s and more than twice that of the cramped and smelly Shipra Food Court. you do not get any foul smell and have enough space to walk around, and still have enough seats to cater to the weakend peak loads. The best thing about this FC is its smart card based payment system. You can purchase the card in various denominations and get it recharged after exhausting or return it to get the balance plus security of card, at two counters available. This system is really convenient as you have to only swipe the card at individual outlets to pay for the food. You have OK preparations from most of the outlets here. Only thing that pinches is the lack of drinking water on the house. Shipra is pretty generous in this regard and you can have your fill of chilled water on the house.

One thing that baffles is discontinued placement of escalators. These are scattered and you have to walk quite a bit to reach the escalator for the next floor. However, this does not matter much as you have only two floors and little walking never hurts. I forgot to mention the array of proper Restaurants like Moti Mahal Deluxe and many others present here. If you want a proper served dinner you are in for good courtesy.

In all must visit this one.
