I had a very bad experience from Skywing packers and movers . I had transferred my household items double cot bed, dining table, chairs and kitchen utensils transferred from Hyderabad to Kerala last week by Skywing packers and movers. The quote for the above items were promised for Rs 11, 000/-(net price including a free insurance up to Rs 10, 000/-), which includes dismantling, packing in Hyderabad and unpacking, assembling of the above said items to my house in Kerala.
As per the above quote, Skywing workers came to my apartment in Hyderabad, dismantled and packed the items. Finally at the end of the payment settlement, they increased the quoted price by saying that I have to pay a compulsory insurance for Rs 50, 000/- amount(3% around Rs 1500/-) and service tax/vat(12% of the total amount). So the total amount they asked to pay 11, 000+ 1, 500+ 1, 320= Rs 13, 820/-. I felt so surprised to see the change in quote by adding the additional insurance and tax(which was earlier included with the quote of Rs 11, 000/-). After a long conversation and fighting with Skywing and they agreed for a price of Rs 12, 000/- and tip for the workers Rs 400/-. I felt that they are not professional packers and movers like Agarwal packers and movers.
After one week they came for the consignment delivery in Kerala in Lorry. My home is roughly 1Km inside the national highway and the driver called on phone and told that they cannot come inside to my home instead they can deliver the consignment on the highway road side or they can deliver the consignment in another destination which is 60km away from my house. My house to highway road is well wide(40 m wide) and even bigger that the Skywing lorries pass through that road every day. After a waiting time of 30 min in the highway, the lorry driver accidently saw a bigger lorry passed through that road, then we talked to him convinced and finally he took the lorry to my house.
There was again issues during unloading the consignment from the lorry to my house. There were only two workers including the driver, they hesitated to unload and asked for the help from local workers in my locality. As Skywing promised at the time of loading that they will send few workers for free unloading, unpacking and assembling of the furniture. They did not kept the promise, even hesitated for unloading themselves alone and no words for unpacking and assembling. They lied to me saying that they cannot unload due to workers union in Kerala and that seems for their hesitation for unloading. This was a true lie and I talked to Skywing people in Hyderabad via telephone and created issue saying that there is workers union issue in Kerala. Finally workers unloaded and we paid an additional amount of Rs 1500/-
Skywing is so unprofessional and non trustful and I won’t recommend anyone for using Skywing packer and movers for any domestic transfer service in India. Skywing service was so pathetic and I felt bad experiences while loading and unloading time. I would say you should think twice before choosing Skywing packers.
