The movie was directed by R. Balki, Edited by Chandan Arora. It was Drama and social issue movie, The story is based on real incidence a man was try to finding the cheap solution on women menstrual cycle days hygiene issues and their health issues. where he tries to produce sanitary pad which could be afforded by the rural areas women’s. In the result he was isolated by his own family members and villagers because in their society it was taboo. But he continued research on it by using internet then he did experiments finally he succeed in it.
Akshay Kumar as Lakshmikant in lead role it was very challeging role, his acting couldn’t look convincing. Radhika Apte as Gayatri wife of Lakshmikant did excellently and carry the role maner. Sonam Kapoor as Pari she had nothing to do in her role.
Music was done by Amit Trivedi averagely the beginning song and its music felt emerging.
P. C. Sreeram is Cinematographer of Padman after interval there were huge things to do. Lakshmikant builds a machine that whole period captured nicely there was lots of scenes which were embarance the audience. At the end, It was just Documentary. I didn’t enjoy The Movie.
