Research their track record before criticizing!

Being an alumni, I am offended by the unsubstantiated criticisms here. I spent 14years in this school right from KG to high school and I couldn’t have asked for a better learning and developmental experience. I am quite content with the way my life has turned out and the career I am pursuing and I believe this school has played a major role in shaping me up to be who I am today.

The pedagogy, tutelage and commitment of teachers in PSBB is even higher than my overseas tertiary educational institutions which are one of the premier ones in the world. I wouldn’t have gotten into those big colleges and universities with scholarship opportunities if not for what I learnt in PSBB and without the teachers there who nurtured/guided me.

I left the school in 2004- 10 years ago, and am blessed to have personally been taught by teachers such as Mrs. Balambal, Mrs. Viji Mahalingam, Mrs. Hamsa Ramdass, Mrs. Indira Vaidyanathan, Mrs. Geetha Govindarajan, Mrs. Valsa Balaji, Mrs. Malathy Santhanam, Mrs. Geetha Loganathan and many many more. But the teachers I mentioned are still there in the school even right now creating/nurturing thousands of talents every year.

When I saw the bad reviews and limpy accusations on isolated incidents which are being blown up way out of proportion to slander the name of such a fine institution which means so much to me,  I feel honor-bound to stand up and defend them.

This school has produced leaders, sportsmen, film stars, musicians, doctors, engineers, artists, social activists, hundreds of millionaires and millions of successful alumni who are happy and content in which ever career path they have chosen. I am certain not one of them will not acknowledge/make light of the role PSBB played in their success- cos that was not how we were raised in this school.

If you are a student- you should consider yourself lucky to be part of PSBB and soak in all that it has to offer. If you are a parent- suck it up and endure the minor struggles/challenges every individual will face in their life at some point cos if you give up on this school cos of those, it will certainly be your loss. Tolerating some minor flaws will let you enjoy and be grateful for the experiences this institution has to offer for your child.

Cheers

Arun Prakash
