The movie is all about Alauddin Khilaji and his Cruel nature. How he defeated Mongolians? which kind of his personality? etc. In this movie another side, you can see love story of Ratansingh and Padmavati. but there was a supporting villain Raghav Chetan who is the reason for the destruction of Mewar. provide information about Padmavati’s beauty her looks to the Khalji. he attracted and decide to meet her but Ratansingh rejects his proposal, Khilaji came with his huge army at Mewar to win that territory. Ranvir Singh as Alauddin portraits spectacularly he performed at that level where anyone couldn’t do better than him. The marvelous performance by him, he portraits intelligently all brutal characteristics and inhumanness of Khilaji.
Shahid Kapoor as king of Mewar Ratansingh not bad performance but he had very tiny space in the movie he delivered most of the dialogs proudly which was noticeable.
Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati he looks gorgeous and a milestone in her career, she keeps era of Padmavati.
Music was great, Background score was beautifully tuned at right time.
Sudeep Chatterjee is the cinematographer of Padmavat and it was the main property of the movie, VFX and 3D effect was indescribable value for money experience. The horse riding between Mongolian war was unbelievable.
I recommend this movie, must watch!
