Beautifully directed

The day before yesterday I went to watch this movie with my family. I had a lot of expectations with this after the loads of controversies it had before its releasing. And I didn’t see any offensive scene in the movie.

Plot: -

The movie is based on rani padmavati ( deepika padukone) being the second wife of raja ratan singh ( shahid kapoor) and the king of delhi sultanate allaudin khilji ( Ranveer singh) . The former advisor of raja ratan singh raghav chetan caught red handed by watching the intimate moments of padmavati and raja ratan singh and exiled from the city chittor. He visits allaudin khilji and describes him what a beauty padmavati is and he decides to possess her.

In the end he kills raja ratan singh with fraud but still couldn’t even got a good glance of padmavati as she performs Jauhar ( gives herself to lord agni) .

Performance : - while watching the movie, you will be mesmerised by the intense role of Ranveer singh as allaudin khilji as he has performed tremendously. Shahid kapoor is looking a proper rajput, the dialogue delivery is awesome. And being in the limelight of the movie, deepika padukone as padmavati is ravishing and full of grace. The casting is well choosen.

Music : - You will fell in love with the songs of the movie. The movie has a lots of variety of songs. From rajasthani traditional song ghoomar to Arabic song khalibali. And romantic song ek dil ek jaan. All the songs are to the point of perfection and melodious.

Cinematography : - Sanjay leela bhansali yet again created a masterpiece on the screen. The way he shots the scene itself speaks the intensity of the moment in the situation. All the angles in the movie are being covered from romantic scenes to battle scenes, they all got the perfection that in bhansali’s movie we look for.

Conclusion : - I must say, its a must watch movie for everyone. After all the controversies and almost 300 scenes being cut off from the movie, this movie will still give you goosebumps and leave you in awe of the beauty of rajasthani tradition.

I will definitely give this movie a thumbs up.
