The movie is a historical action flick based upon the book Padmavat which features some of the big faces of bollywood like Ranveer Singh as Allauddin Khilji, Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.Exp. : - We had expected this movie as an epic one as it was just like a giveaway from Bhansali sir to show us the great story of Rani Padmavati and the fued b/w the massive powers of that time, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Allauddin Khilji with a lot of action scenes and so called intimate shots b/w Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.Reality : - The movie was awesome but didn’t satisfied the expectations as it lacked action scenes and the acting of Shahid Kapoor didn’t matched the level of his co-star Ranveer Singh. Also the entire movie was not that great only some of the scenes were great af. The romance b/w the two baby faces was also limited to 2: 44 sec which bored everyone. The highlight of the movies was the grooming shots of Allauddin Khilji and the two songs Khalibali and Bint-e-dil stole everyone’s heart. The battle at Delhi with Gora and Badal was also mesmerising. Actually it was not fully based upon the book called Padmavat. Few changes were needed to dramatize the movie. Although its movie worth watching.
